Wicked - Review
This has got to be one of the slowest books I have ever read. It is a perfect example of how not to keep the reader interested. The concept, however, initially intrigued me so I continued to plod through the novel a few pages each night. It is saying something when, in-between pages of this book, I find myself longing for the quick pace of Battlefield Earth (second half), Lord of the Rings, and Dune (yes, this is sarcastic). As you can tell from the numerous "professional" reviews on sites such as Amazon, I seem to be in the minority.
